Launched in 2003 by a couple, Thierry Ellies and Keiko Kitagawa to serve as a bridge between design and craft, BEAMS fennica presented a style that combines traditional Japanese handcraft with new and old designs collected from Northern Europe. Exceeding realms of conventional fashion selection, BEAMS fennica’s less global, more local theme is demonstrated in its lineup encompassing an entire lifestyle, from men’s and women’s wear to dining wares, home interiors and foods.

SELECTION

Its offering is full of variety; clothing from all over the world, Scandinavian furniture, kitchen wear and Japanese pottery like Mashiko yaki and Arita yaki. A very selected range of pants from Japanese brands. orSlow pants exclusively made for BEAMS fennica are released every season.

SPACE

The shop is located in the INTERNATIONAL GALLERY BEAMS on Meiji Dori street in Harajuku. Clean, simple and very quiet with no music.
