SAMURAI JEANS was started in Osaka in 1997. Its jeans are in extremely high quality and are often sold in limited editions. They made the brand famous as an unwashed selvage denim maker in the world. The leather patch depicts an image of a Samurai battle for greatness between Musashi Miyamoto and Kojirō Sasaki in 1612. Musashi was the winner and is said to be the best Samurai in history.
SAMURAI JEANS’ unsanforized denim has a rough texture that fades quickly, so this crisp indigo jacket would look completely different after just a few months of wearing it. Most of the cuts are based on the traditional workwear. Its standard cut is at 15 oz per sq meter. However, they have now gone all the way up to 24.
